The 2016 Annual General Meeting of CFES/FCST was held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the University of Ottawa, as part of the annual meeting of officers, directors, member society representatives, and observers.  The meeting was chaired by President Scott Swinden.  A new Board of Directors was approved by the assembled member society representatives, including Scott Swinden, Sandra Barr, Lesley Hymers, Stephen Johnston, Sarina Cotroneo, Marie-Claude Williamson, Graziella Grech, Anne Belanger, Iain Samson, Christian Bohm, and Sam Kelley.

 

A motion of appreciation was passed for four Directors who retired at this meeting – Mary-Louise Byrne, Jason Dunning, Carolyn Relf and Mike Cherry.  It was noted that all made substantial contributions, especially to the re-organization and re-birth of CFES in the past several years. 

 

The following Slate of Officers for 2016-17 was also approved:

President-elect - Iain Samson

Past-president – Scott Swinden

Secretary - Christian Bohm

Financial Director - Sam Kelley
