Our National Role

CFES works towards the common national-level goals of its member associations, such as promoting Earth Science education through public policy and outreach, protecting Canada's geoheritage, and providing professional resources for Canadian geoscientists. National advocacy is carried out by CFES through its national committees, and in partnership with broader national science organizations including GeoParks Canada, CanGeoRef, PAGSE and the Science Media Centre of Canada.
