Education Outreach and Public Engagement Guide

Outreach provides opportunities for geoscientists to build public awareness and appreciation for the Earth Sciences.  It provides opportunities to engage with and learn from various audiences.  Incorporating education and outreach activities in geoscientific conferences and meetings supports this important connection between cutting-edge geoscience and the public.  This Guidebook brings together the best practices and collective experience of the Canadian Geoscience Education Network volunteers to assist Local Organizing Committees with planning and successful implementation of outreach elements for geoscience conferences.
